Mens High Heels

Transgender question: what clothes did you first start wearing out in public?

Public Comments

  1. i hope you don't look like a dude in a dress
  2. First I started wearing guy's shorts and jeans, then I added baggy shirts, then got a binder, now I can wear whatever shirts I want(:
  3. I looked around to see what women my age were wearing, then chose something in the line of jeans and tops with low heeled boots/shoes. The progressed to skirts and tops for summer and mainly trousers and jacket sets for formal/work. Now I just keep a weather eye on what fashion tends to be in my age range.
  4. Pretty much what I've worn much of my life; just adding a binder to the mix.
  5. I basically wore jeans and t-shirts before my transition, so at first I just started wearing women's jeans. I've always worn shoes that could be considered "unisex" so I didn't change that right away. I progressed to wearing a mix of men's and women's t-shirts. As soon as I needed to start wearing a bra, I basically pulled the trigger, got rid of almost all my male clothing, and started buying women's tops, pant's, shorts, sweaters, jackets, shoes, etc, etc. Mostly basic stuff you'd see any other woman my age wearing. I wanted to be as inconspicuous as possible. Now, I wear whatever I'm in the mood to wear, and dress according to my age, the occasion and the season, like any other woman.
