why do people assosciate crossdressing and being gay?

Yeah I like to dress like a female once a week. I go all out, wig makeup shoes and all. I'm as straight as they come. It just makes me feel sexy. i like when girls wear it so I want to feel sexy. Why do people think crossdressers are gay? Research shows 90% of us are straight. I'm very masculine and I play professional basketball. My wife knows and is very embracing. She knows I'm still a man I just like feeling sexy. So why do people assume im gay?

1. I agree, it's a ridiculous assumption. You are very lucky your wife is OK with this - she is probably 1 in 1000. I hope you treat her so that she knows this.
2. Gay people usually tend to act feminine. So when they see a male dressed as the opposite sex, they automatically assume they're gay. That's society for you, get used to it.
