Is it true that most male crossdressers are straight?

I'm gay and I would love to date a crossdresser. They are SO hot! But I heard most of them are straight, is that true? I think drag queens are cute too, but not when they wear like 20 pounds of makeup.

1. Yeah but most people are straight. I'm guessing the same percentage of male crossdressers are gay, as the percentage of males who are gay.
2. I would imagine so. It's straight guys who get off on wearing their girlfriend or wife's underwear. I'm gay, and I'd never want to wear womens clothes... I'm not attracted to them, why would I want to look like them? ☼
3. I'm a straight crossdresser, there are a lot of straight dressers out there but there also plenty of bisexual ones too. Gay crossdressers do seem to be rarer breed, but if you look hard enough, you'll find them. I'd suggest signing up for a crossdressing social networking site if you want to meet someone.
4. I don't know of any studies, but it is true that a lot of cross dresers are straight. I once had a male friend who was very happily married, and loved to cross dress. He was hilarious at parties etc.
5. sorry for this but yes most cross dressers are strait. there probably are quite a few gay cross dressers but most are stat men.
6. don't know I think they are both, I'm gay and personally do not find it attractive to see a man's unit stuff in women's panties wearing garters, give me a pair of plain white briefs and I'd be happy, I like boys who are boys, not boys who are girls

8. I guess it depends on the motivations. Most drag queens are gay men, but most transvestites are straight men. I think it's more the reasons why they crossdress, as opposed to an expression of their sexual preferences. In that regard, however, not all drag queens are campy drag, there are some who do subtle as well. Just keep an eye out. Good luck!
9. im a cross dresser & i'm straight. most of the things i've read about cross dressing always make the point of saying that the majority of cd's are Straight. however , in some cd/tv "contact" mags there are sections that are "cd / tv seeking man" - so seek & you may find !!
10. That is what most "studies" say, but as a long time CD I think that a large percentage are bisexual. A lot of CDs like being treated as a woman, so its a matter of how much they want to be treated as a woman.
11. Yes a good portion of c/d s are "straight"... I myself, am a long time married transvestite, and all's well on the home "front" with that as she is supportive, understanding and the whole nine yards.. As for crossdressers being as you put it "hot" - no.. they are attractive, good looking etc... Hot refers to a temperature, heat factor - nothing to do with ones appearance. I can fully understand your likes and desires towards our community - good for you and your understanding. The reason for excessive make up on drag queens is that they spend a good deal of their time on stage, and in many cases over exaggerate femininity and play it all up as a "joke:.
