I am straight and enjoy crossdressing, why do people freak out about this.?

I have my own clothing and shoes makeup purse and wigs. I am not gay and I enjoy feminine things and feeling like a chick. i do not dress slutty just normal. So why do so many people have a cow about it. I am a guy and have all my own stuff cloths wigs makeup and shoes. I enjoy feeling feminine in a exterior way and it make s me happy. Why do people have a cow about it?

7. I think it's normal, then again I grew up and live in America's cross dressing central. I think it's fine though, don't worry what others think.

9. The biggest reason people "have a cow" about crossdressers is due to their own ignorance. Those who don't bother to do some research about the subject automatically assume that any male who wants to wear womens clothes is either gay or at the very least bi-sexual. These people are usually avid fans of programs like Jerry Springer and take what they see on such programs seriously. Oddly enough, the crossdressers seen on such programs aren't REAL crossdressers, but are people who would do just about anything to make a fast buck. Polls/surveys (both past and present) indicate that approximately 10% of the male population crossdresses on a regular basis. For some this only involves one or two articles of feminine clothing while for others it's everything from head to toe. Of this 10%, those who are totally heterosexual number around 90%. The remaining 10% actually are either gay, bisexual, or make a living doing impersonations of celebrities or people who are otherwise famous. In comparison, it is also estimated that these same percentages apply to the GENERAL population - 90% are heterosexual, 10% are something else. At the current time there is no known medical or psychological explanation as to why some men need/want to crossdress, but it is recognized that it seems to be something a person is born with. If this is accurate then it follows that it's not something that one has a choice about any more than they do as to what color their hair or eyes will be, what their ethnicity will be, who their parents will be, etc. In summary, those who choose to remain ignorant will probably continue to bask in their own stupidity and let everybody else do their thinking for them. Those who are intelligent will do their own research and form their OWN opinions about crossdressing (or any other controversial subject for that matter).
