According to an psychology survey says this is how guys turn into crossdressers, do you believe it is true ?
According to a research survey says that guys who don't have a girlfriend by age 19 start to develop a feminine side and turn into crossdressers. They say guys who do this to fill in the missing gap, the missing girl in their lives. Some even turn gay and get a sex change and even end up marrying a guy. Do you believe it is true ?? I think it is because my cousin is in the same situation, he dresses as a girl and he doesn't even know he is gay or not.

- I don't think so. I would imagine that some guys are gay if they happen to impersonate girls too much.
- Of course not. You can't determine causes from a survey. I think whoever told you there was any such survey was lying to you big time. What you wrote is completely absurd.
- Someone might believe it happens that way, but no, it isn't true. There is a lot of junk research out there, so you have to do your best to verify similar claims. Guys do not turn gay and then get a sex change. Transwomen are women, and a woman that marries a man is straight. Most transsexual people I know were aware by age 9 and many (including myself) before age 4, although this is often repressed until later in life.
- You didn’t cite where you found your information, but from the view of a crossdresser’s personal research done over the years, this isn’t believable. Approximately 10% of the male population DOES crossdress on a somewhat regular basis. Of this number, 90% are totally heterosexual with no intentions of ever being anything otherwise. The actual (physical/mental/medical) cause for someone being a crossdresser continues to elude the professional communities, but there is mounting evidence that it is simply something that one is BORN with and therefore had no choice in the matter. Hundreds of theories exist, but these are just that – theories. However, there are recent findings based on these theories that seem to bear some validity. Among these are the ‘hormone wash theory’ and the ‘stuttering gene’ theory. And although there are a few “late bloomers”, most crossdressers begin dressing somewhere between the ages of 6 and 12. At that young age it would appear that it is NOT sexually motivated since sex isn’t something that someone that young isn’t aware of yet. The biggest problem faced by crossdressers is the general public’s ignorance about what it is, but more importantly what it ISN’T. If mass education about the subject was presented and the population would absorb the facts about it, they would find that crossdressers aren’t perverts as they are all too often portrayed do be. When you consider the above stats, one in every ten is a crossdresser and that means many people are friends with a lot of CD’s that they aren’t even aware of.
