What are some GOOD, EMPOWERING resources for crossdressers?
Especially for ones who are questioning if they may be bigender, genderqueer, or something along those lines? All I can find is shopping and make-up tips, clinical-sounding definitions, websites that are really for transsexuals, porn, and hate websites.

- You're on the right track insofar as broadening your horizon on what gender means to you. Like you, I initially coined myself as a crossdresser because the act of crossdressing was the most obvious aspect of how I didn't conform to typical norms for being male. Much like you, I have found that a Google search on crossdressing turns up either smut, endless articles about clothes, makeup, or some dogmatic and arrogant crossdresser preaching an outdated Tri-Ess based message on what crossdressing is and isn't along with what a proper crossdresser should and shouldn't do. What I suggest is that you check out some of the broader websites and resoruces that deal with the larger issue of gender. If you do a search on the terms you already mentioned, chances are that you'll find a much larger wealth of information than you ever will with the term crossdresser or transvestite. You can also search using the term transgender, which encompasses all cross-gendered topics. Many larger towns often have a transgender support group, which can be a great resoruce in terms of meeting other trans identified people and information. Another aspect to consider: Ghandi once said that you have to be the change you wish to see in the world. If you want to see more crossdressing sites that deal with the fundamental aspect of gender, you can always start one yourself.
