Is it normal to hate the human race at the age of 14?
Well, I'm 14 and consider myself misanthropic. Is this normal? The only 3 things that set me apart from kids my age are: - Being transgender - Having a higher than average IQ - A different clothing style :/ (Apparently that's important to other kids -.-) Is it weird? To think that humans are disgusting, shallow and cruel? Please answer!

- uh yeah, kinda lol but hey, who cares lol
- ummmmmmm mayb ok 2 hate some ppl but better to try to look for the good in others rite?
- You are who you are, don't let other people influence to change yourself...and your view will change as you get older. We all think that people are shallow at one point in our life. Have a great day. ^.^
- Congrats, you've realized this world is full of stupid fucks. You're all grown up.
- Yup, that's normal. Spend your time figureing out who you are and what you want to do, keep an eye out for the people who are actually worthwhile (they are out there, just takes some looking and a larger pool of people than a high school). Good luck.
- yes its pretty normal and sadly eventually your come to the conclusion that all you can be responsible for is your own consciousness but if that is aware and full of love then that's one more we can add to the wave that's coming, chin up x
- I wouldn't think its weird. 14 ish year olds seem to always be hating something, either the human race, their parents, the nerds at school, the gangs their gangs fight... So you hate thing is the humans. They hated me at 14, being a different clothes style and carrying a book bag. I wanted to be part of them too much to hate them until I got older and moved to Pennsylvania. Now, about 40 years later I hate them a lot for their cruelty as kids and the whole human population here's hostile attitudes and their obsession with killing things for entertainment being such a popular "sport" they have to close down schools to get their kids out killing on the first day of deer hunting. Weird or not, you aren't the only one hating them!
- Try cannibalism! If you like the taste, than you will have at least one way you like people. This is important for job interviews. Many employers ask the question: do you like people? At least you can honestly answer yes if you like how people taste. They may be thinking extroverted, team player, enjoys helping others while you are thinking fried, baked, or barbecued but they don't have to know that. They will see the joy in your face and tone of your speech and likely hire you as a result.
