Am I a transgender girl?
Hello,I think there is a good possibility that I am a transgender girl. I need your opinion. It had all started when I was five years old. I've always said to myself I wish I were a girl. As a child I wasen't interested in boys toys instead I was secretly interested in girly dolls. I would also see how preety girls were and I wanted to look just like them. I had always wanted long hair but my mom forces me to cut it even month. I've always been interested in girls clothing and make up instead of boys clothing and baseball. I've always wanted to act like a girly girl.but I'd be too shy. I already feel like a girl. I also crossdress and secretly wear make up. I think men look great with 6 pack and muscles but I know it doesent quiet fit my personality. Lots of boys my age are muscular but I'm slim. I like to be feminine. I wish to be a girl. And I feel happy when people call me girl. But the idea of SRS scares me. Even if it is what I want. I know that having a sex change would ruin my dreams of being a priest and joining the USAF. Do you think I'm a tgirl?I feel I am. I need advice please.thank you for all your help. BTW Im attracted to girls and I'm 14years old. I know that I'm not just a crossdresser nor androgynous.

- yup, if you really feel that way, then its true, be who you want to be screw other haters! ~hugsssss~ :D
- -closes my eyes, and shakes my head-
- Your a tranny. It's not really a bad thing. A lot of people are like that. I wouldn't get a sex change though unless your ABSOLUTELY positive about your decision.
- Answer me this: Are you a girl? If you can smile and say yes, then no one can tell you otherwise. :D Who you're attracted to doesn't make a bit of a difference. I'm a transgender guy, a year older than you, and I like guys~. Plenty of transgendered folks are gay, straight, bi, etc, etc. :3 If you feel like a girl, you're a girl. Doesn't matter if you're girly or a tomboy or anything. SRS is not a requirement, it's expensive and it scares a lot of people. If it's what you want, see a gender therapist, go for it, give 'em hell. :D All I can say about you wanting to be a priest and joining the USAF -- fight for your rights. People every day are fighting for it. And there have been female priests, and there's LGBT-supportive Catholic churches out there.
- You could be transgender or you could just admire a lot of feminine things which is actually quite common. There are a lot of drag queens like Rupaul for instance who're comfortable in make up and women's clothing and want to be beautiful but are still men and comfortable with being a man. Being transgender means that you believe you were born in the wrong body and that something deep inside tells you that you're supposed to be of the other gender. It's in your thoughts and your heart and even subconcsious. Read the book entitled "Parrotfish" by Ellen Wittlinger. It does a great job in telling the story of a transgendered boy. Hopefully that should clear things up :]
- gender and sexuality are two different things like lets say for instance- a girl that is anatomically correct how she feels inside and out thats gender she can like boys or girls or both that is your sexuality two different things thats why you have us the LGBT :) so you are a girl thats your gender you like girls thats your sexuality
- you wasnt doing to bad right up until you finished off ,,,,,,,,,,,, I know that having a sex change would ruin my dreams of being a priest and joining the USAF. Do you think I'm a tgirl?I feel I am. I need advice please.thank you for all your help. BTW Im attracted to girls and I'm 14years old. I know that I'm not just a crossdresser nor androgynous. ok your dremaing of being a girl is not a nun the corerect vocation then . your attratcted to girls kinda a boy thinking . want to join the airforce the military do you want to play soldier ? lastly 14 years old puts you at puberty which wil disqualify your credability and lastly the fact you felt a need to stress your not a crossdresser or androgonist aahhh . are you transsexual no do you fit under the transgender umbrella term that covers evry devient there is yes
- Don't confuse gender identity and sexual orientation. It doesn't matter who you are attracted to! All that matters is how you feel about YOURSELF. If you're serious you should talk with your parents soon. Otherwise you'll only be building a house of cards that will collapse sooner or later.
