Mens High Heels

Why do so many women appear to have problems with crossdressers?

I am not saying all, but as a crossdresser, I get the feeling that many women have issues with crossdresser. I once decided to go out dressed up and got lauged at by women. I always thought, that women would be bit more supportive with someone who wants to wear a skirrt, heels, dresses, etc.

  1. they're insecure that the crossdressers are more feminine than them.
  2. I hate cross dressers and I'm a white male.
  3. Do what makes you happy and forget about criticism from people like that. You don't need their support, and if they are that judgmental, you shouldn't value it.
  4. Because they say that male cross-dressers are a "caricature" of femininity. But in fact the resent that these cross-dressers remind them of what femininity once was and they are reminded of their own failures as women. These women are simply no longer feminine and the femininity of the male cross-dresser disturbs them. It is no coincidence that male cross-dressers and mtf transsexuals are far more accepted in Latin American countries where traditional femininity is still valued. North American women for a long time were becoming less and less feminine but at least the younger women seem to be reversing that somewhat.
  5. There was a "cross dressing day" at my college, and at lunch a big guy walked past me in nothing but a teddy, fishnet stockings, and a blonde wig. I'd never seen anything like that before except on TV, and it was sort of shocking. I'm fairly positive that I didn't laugh at him...but I think my jaw was probably on the floor. People have different reactions to what they don't see every day or really don't understand. Sometimes the reaction is fear, sometimes it's laughter, or it could just be avoidance. (There's a number of reactions that could happen.) You can't expect people not to notice or react in some way. Sometimes people laugh when they are nervous.
