I am a butch lesbian and I wear mens clothing, but i want to look better for my girl.?

*** kind of a repost but changed a little *** My girlfriend and I watched a movie last night "Soldier Girl" and one of the lead characters was a Transgender male that was absolutely gorgeous. I mean if I would have went in somewhere and not known she was a guy I don't think I would have ever known. I am a butch lesbian and my girl is more femme... and drop dead gorgeous. I am looking for info on how to be a better butch lesbian. I want to look better for her, dress better, and just fit the part better. I mean she says she is happy with me the way I am but I want to look better for her. Apart from loosing weight -- which is obvious -- I just want to know what I can do to better fit the part. I wear slacks and dress shirts when we go out. But when we are just around town I wear t-shirts, jeans, ball caps, etc.. I want to look better for her... any feedback would be wonderful..I mean I would be happy in my off days wearing slacks and dress shoes and my hats but I live in a community that doesn't really accept that. Which doesn't really matter to me. I spend most days in a uniform anyway I just want to know what I can do to look more of the part for my girl. I know that It shouldn't matter but it does matter to me and I don't know what I need to do to fix it. I don't want to be a guy or anything I just like mens clothing better. 1. One day you will realise that trying to be more of a "butch lesbian" is trivial, how can you ever be happy with yourself if you continuously have to work towards some predefined outline, and how can anyone truely love you, if you do not love yourself.
2. I think your awareness and willingness to change is a major battle won already. You need to keep in mind that changing to a new look will be uncomfortable. I think you should set your mind on a particular look. For example, as a guy, I might be always wearing sports stuff, but have decided to try to dress a little more mature. So I'll fix my eye on Express Men or Banana Republic or something like that.
3. ugh, i got annoyed after your first paragraph cause it's inaccurate. fix it and i'll help you. HE is NOT a SHE. ever. never has been, never will be. "never known" is trivial, as it doesn't affect anything once so ever. wait, er, other way around with that? your wording is so horrid i can hardly tell. but fine then, SHE was not a HE. >.< and just be comfortable with who u are or do it for urself, not someone u might not even be with forever if they care that much about your looks.

5. did you ever watch the movie gia? the super model,well she was gay and butch and if you look at some of her photos,she gels her hair and it can look male /female.in one photo she wore a white button down shirt,mens and undid a few buttons a very sexy look.if you take some of the things you have and just altar the way you wear them.i hope i have been helpful
6. Wow there are some really rude people out here...usually the rudest are the closeted homos.....anyway... Start out by just goin to the store by yourself and try on some girl clothin you like...really look at yourself and see that you can look really nice .....you can always just chill in the mens clothin too round the house or sum thin....but it seems like u have a really nice girl who loves u for who u are and I am sure you will figure it out...s h I t its just clothes anyway
7. there is a book titled Dagger: On Butch Women. very helpful indeed. try for a "casual friday" look perhaps? a good pair of khakis, sensible shoes, and either a nice college-boy type sweater, or a polo shirt. Also do not forget that every butch should have at least one vest. hope this helps!

9. You've gone down a path that will ultimately lead to your destruction. The best thing that you can do for yourself is regroup yourself, stop having sexual relationships with women, and yes, lose weight and most importantly find a bible study or a church that you can belong to. Some people have sex with small animals, and some people have sex with small children and they themselves may believe that they are born to do such things, but, of course, you'll agree those things are beyond wrong they are abominations. Look up homosexuality on the Bible Gateway website and think about what you read. I hope for you and your sake you can not only find a better wardrobe, but a better way of life that will ultimately lead you to a glorious eternal life!
10. wear:jewelery, nice perfume, makeup (foundation and mascara is enough), and accessorize (glasses, belts, scarves etc). find some role models that you want to be like, and put their picture everywhere to remind you what your working towards. study what it is you like about them and spend a little time every day to work towards turning yourself into the person youve always wanted to be. if you want it enough, you'll get it. go onto wikihow. things like sexiness, charisma, posture, femininity and charm are things people can learn online (dont u luv it!)
11. get urself a nice haircut that would suit with ur style work out, eat healthy <> wear nice clothes.. go shopping with her and see what she likes for u to wear. :) always be clean haha and take care of urself. :)

13. I see the loonie tunes are out today. As a fellow butch I can relate to what you're saying, so my advice is find a line of clothing that you like and stick with it. I personally prefer Land's End, go for a casual but elegant look; slacks and sweaters with a button down shirt underneath, or slacks shirt and sport coat. Loosing weight helps of course. Under no circumstances should you try to wear a dress it will only confuse and upset you; and probably your girl, too.
14. If u wanna feel more sexy or nicer go 4 the nicer clothes and buy some things that make u feel more sexy and confident and mayb a nice Prada or Gucci bag or fragrance will help u feel more confident ?? Goodluck xx
15. get a fresh haircut. When me and my gf go out i usually wear a polo my nice jeans and my nike shox. Then i put on my abercrombie perfume which she loves. Just try to find a store that you like and a store that has clothes that you like the way they look on you.
